A proud Starsky moment: Linda Kelly gives a shout-out to the Club

Sometimes cycling stories travel further than we expect. Starsky Cycling Club was delighted to see a recent Instagram post from Linda Kelly, one of Ireland’s leading para-cycling athletes and tandem pilots, thanking Starsky CC for kitting her out with Inertia wheels. For the Club, it was a small but proud moment. Starsky is built around local cycling, bike service, repairs, club rides and helping riders find the right equipment. But every so often, that local work connects with a much bigger story in Irish cycling. Linda Kelly has represented Ireland at the highest level, racing as a sighted pilot in tandem events alongside Katie-George Dunlevy. Together, they have achieved major international success, including Paralympic medals, world titles and European success for Ireland. That is why seeing Starsky Cycling Club mentioned in her post means a lot. It is a reminder that good equipment, careful preparation and trusted local support all matter - whether someone is getting ready for a first club spin, a sportive, a race, or the highest level of international competition.
